蕃薯芋花生包(Peanut Pao)


Ingredients:

  • (A) 80g steam sweet potato (mashed)
  • (B) 250g plain flour, 3g instant yeast, 25g sugar
  • (C) 120ml water
  • (D) 1 cup roasted peanut, 1tbsp sesame seeds, 1tbsp sugar, 2tbsp peanut butter (mix well and set aside)


Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients (A) and (B) together.
  2. Add in (C) and knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Cover with a piece of wet cloth and set aside for 15 minutes.
  4. Divide dough into 12 portion; around 36g each.
  5. wrap in fillings and seal it tightly. Place on a baking paper and arrange into steaming tray.
  6. Prove for another 30 mins before steaming.
  7. Steam at moderate high fire for 12 mins. Allow a small gaps by lifting the lid after steaming for 5 mins. Turn off heat and let it sit undisturbed for another 3-5 minutes.
